This is a Composite Curing Oven engineered and designed for an Aerospace client. This oven also includes a Vacuum System, 450°F Maximum Operating Temperature, and was Electrically Heated (Direct and Indirect Gas Fired Versions Available)
Oven Control Systems
- Allen Bradley PLC, with Allen Bradley HMI operator interface.
- Ethernet Connectivity, for connection to customer computer, or to computer supplied with the system.
- Ability to control more than one unit from a single control panel.
- System control through HMI or through customer supplied computer or computer supplied with system
- Vacuum source can be supplied by customer, or a pump can be mounted on the unit.
- External vacuum headers, with check valves spaced along each header. Each leg from the header into the oven chamber has its own ball type shut off valve.
- Legs terminate in the chamber with customers choice of connections.
- Vacuum data collection in PLC and display on HMI.
- The EPS ovens use a combination horizontal/vertical airflow pattern, where air flows horizontally out of the side walls, mixes in the center, and flows vertically to ceiling returns.
- Alternate airflow patterns are available to suit customer’s application.
- Airflow pattern and air changes per minute designed to meet customer's uniformity requirements.
- The most common location for the heater box is on top. Should the overhead clearance be restrictive, however, the heater box can be at the rear.
