Engineered Production Systems offer Thermal Care PTP Series Pump/Reservoir Cooling Systems. PTP Series systems are one-piece, molded, low-density polyethylene reservoirs that can accommodate a wide variety of water qualities. These seamless reservoirs are perfect for tough industrial applications and will not rust or corrode.

PTP Series systems come in a broad range of sizes, from 450 to 3,200 gallons. Properly sized suction and discharge pipe trim eliminates any excessive pressure drop that can interrupt process flow, result in wasted energy, or possibly destroy pumps. Pump assemblies are field attached to the reservoir with flexible connections.

Units are designed and built for easy installation. PTP Series systems are available with a factory-mounted, hardwired control panel to simplify electrical hookup.

PT and PTF Series Pump Reservoir Systems features include:

• Available in fiberglass, polyethylene, stainless steel, or steel.
• All pumps are mounted on a solid deck for added rigidity, serviceability, and safety.
• Steel reservoir seams are double welded, inside and out, for the ultimate protection against leaks and corrosion.
• Steel reservoir interiors are carefully covered with a thick coat of marine duty coal tar epoxy to prevent water-to-metal contact and extend reservoir life.
• Grooved pipe connecting system reduces the need for flexible couplings and eliminates pipe stress at start-up.
• High efficiency, close-coupled, non-overloading centrifugal pumps provide optimum flow and pressure to process with reduced electrical costs.
• Full size pump suction legs feature a 45° angle opening to prevent vortexing and pump cavitation.
• Liquid filled pressure gauges enable accurate flow adjustment.
• Factory mounted thermometer allows quick monitoring of process water temperature.
• PVC elbow at overflow increases tank holding capacity.
• Discharge check valve stops supply line flowback, eliminates the potential for water hammer at pump start-up.
• Properly sized pump suction and discharge piping trim eliminates excessive pressure drop and maximizes flow to process.
• Prewired and mounted control panel is hardwired to pump motors and all alarms, simplifying field installation and reducing installation costs.
• NEMA 4 lights and switches are standard for years of trouble free operation.
• Automatic water make-up assembly maintains constant water level.
